The Building Official serves as the designated authority for the City of Waveland, overseeing all operations of the Building Department. Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, and supervision of the zoning official, permit clerk, and blighted properties clerk. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and management skills to ensure compliance with all applicable state and city codes and regulations.
